Setting up the ITGC Berlin: status update and what’s next

Our community is growing healthily and steadily on the Discord server, and in the meantime we council members have been busy in the background! We have been working behind the scenes on what comes next. Let us explain what we have done, and what we plan to do in the near future.

You probably already know what we plan to do in the long term: create and nurture a great tabletop community, and then create a tabletop paradise here in Berlin, which in our mind means: renting the perfect space to enjoy our hobby.

Now… that’s a nice vision, but you might wonder how we plan to get there! This is what we want to discuss today. Onto more details!

Slow Grow KoW10mm: Meet the Generals!

Let’s get started with our 10mm Kings of War (KoW) challenge! Before we jump into the armies themselves, let’s meet the generals, and discover what brought them to this adventure. Check out our intro article if you want to know what this is all about.


Now that the context and rules for this slow grow challenge are well understood, and a few people have signed up for the challenge, it is time to get started! As you may remember, the first phase of our challenge is called the Concept phase. During that phase, every participant thinks about their army, what they want to achieve during the challenge, and also create their army list.

Gothic Ruins terrain set by Gamemat.eu – review

This post is about the Gothic Ruin Set by gamemat.eu; I ordered it a few weeks ago and was blown away by the quality and value of the whole kit.

I know that when buying a kit from a non-GW (or your chosen “big” manufacturer of minis and terrain) there’s always some hesitation: Will this be good quality? Won’t the new pieces stand out when using my minis next to them? Would I be able to use it in several game systems?
